  1. Ing. Manuel Chicas Director of the Santa Ana headquarter and professor Ing. José Trejo from Mechatronics faculty in Santa Tecla attended the course “Training Systematization of the 4th Industrial Revolution” in Korea from September 29 to October 19. This course is part of the Training Program from Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in El Salvador.
  2. Three faculty members: Walter Araujo, Hinmer Ronaldo Mendoza and Julio Quintero with Nidia Ochoa, Project and Program Manager achieved in January 2019 a 3-week academic exchange at Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School, Washington DC. This experience is the result of sister city partnership agreement between the cities of San Salvador and Washington DC.
  3. In July 2019, ITCA FEPADE hosted a delegation from Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School which included Director of the Culinary Arts Academy Sebastien Lamere, the culinary instructors: Jason Kellogg, James Hummer and Wilma Consul; and the Culinary Arts Employment Specialist Gabriella Woo. In this visit to the campuses in Santa Tecla and La Unión they made international gastronomy demonstrations for the students.
  4. Faculty member from Mechatronics and Welding faculty Walter Yobani Ramírez and Nathan Castro attended the World Skills Americas Competition held in Brazil in February 2019 as experts accompanying competitor students from ITCA FEPADE.
  5. HACU Conference “University Resilience and Renaissance: The Challenge of Climate Change and other global challenges” held in Puerto Rico in May 2019. Mrs. Elsy Escolar SantoDomingo – Rector- and Mrs. Frineé Castillo – Administrative Vice Chancellor- attended the Annual Conference of Hispanic Association of Universities HACU. The program included conferences with recognized international speakers and distinguished participants representing Institutions of Higher Education in the United States and Latin America. In this conference the Mrs. Elsy Escolar SantoDomingo presented the conference “Institutions of Higher Education and Research on climate change”.
  6. During their visit to Puerto Rico, Ms. Elsy Escolar American University of Puerto Rico touring around the campus and assisting meetings with authorities and faculty in order to strengthen the strategic collaboration stablished in 2018. In addition, a cooperation agreement was signed with Inter-American University of Puerto Rico San Germán campus.
  7. In April 2019, Dr. Ronald Hernández from Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico gave a symposium entitled “How to select a good research topic?” to research professors from the five campuses.
